The CO-222 works with standard circular cans with diameters from 2-4 inches, heights up to 7 inches, and maximum weight of 21 oz. It should NOT be used on rimless cans, cans with angled corners, rolling key cans, peel-off foil cans, or pressurized/aerosol cans.

The magnetic clamp only works with steel lids. Aluminum lids will not adhere to the magnet, but the can opener will still cut them - you'll just need to remove the lid manually after opening.

If the can opener stalls, try gently rotating the can to help the cutting process. If there's a dent in the rim, either open from the opposite side or position the blade beyond the dent. Ensure the can is properly aligned and within size specifications.

Knife Sharpener: Place the knife blade in the slot at the back of the unit and gently draw it through. Can also be used for household scissors. Bottle Opener: Position the bottle cap under the metal hook at the back, hold the can opener with one hand, and push down the bottle to pop the cap off.

Always unplug before cleaning. The lever is removable for easy cleaning, but the handle is NOT dishwasher safe. Never immerse the main unit in water. Wipe down with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Clean the cutting mechanism regularly to prevent buildup.

This appliance requires close adult supervision when used by or near children. The blade and cutter are sharp, and children should never operate it alone. Keep out of reach of children when not in use.

Unusual noises may indicate the motor is struggling or there's debris in the mechanism. Make sure the can opener is placed on a stable countertop.
